The vicar of St Giles Church later to become the chaplain to the regiment.

(10) Bell Ringing Plaque 1913

This plaque in St Giles commemorates the ringing of "Grandsire Triples"on the
12th August 1913.


The bell ringers included Frank, his elder brother Harry and Franks close friend David Appleby.
The vicar the Rev Pratt,both Frank and David would meet him some years later on the Western Front
.
